Judith very helpfully gave us the ‘what3words’ location coordinates and as the property is down a track after the tarmac ends, it was perfect and took us right to the door.
The property is perfect, it is very well equipped with everything you need and we were welcomed with extremely good lemon drizzle cake! We wish we were able to use either of the
two outside seating locations, however the weather did not oblige.
The location is beautiful, peaceful and there are walks from the door. It is a great location for Ullswater and Helvellyn and the guides and maps were a great addition to our own.
If you want to eat out the White Lion is a short walk away and after being re-opened quite recently we had good pub food with a couple of well kept beers.
