Week bookings commence on Fridays at 4.00pm. You are required to leave at 9.30am on the day of departure. Short breaks can be booked up to a month in advance when available.
The tariff is all inclusive - towels, waffle bed linen, WiFi access and logs for wood burning stove. The welcome pack includes fresh flowers, Prosecco, milk, croissants,orange juice, coffee pods for the Nespresso Coffee Maker and a homemade cake. We also provide complimentary luxury handcrafted Cumbrian toiletries from The Bath House.
We regret that we do not currently accept dogs at this property.

A non- refundable deposit of £250 is required to be paid at the time of booking, the final balance will be required in full 4 weeks before your holiday. Deposits are not refundable however we will always try to re-let the Barn and if successful we will return any payments made,less the card transaction fees.
Short breaks are available out of season with a minimum of 3 nights, prices start from £395, please contact us for further details.

Booking Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing to book with us, we hope that you will enjoy your stay. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our Booking Terms and Conditions that apply to your booking and form a legal contract between us and you.

A non-refundable deposit of £250 is required.
CANCELATION: If bookings are cancelled 12 weeks before arrival you will lose your deposit, but you will not be charged the remainder of the booking. If you cancel 12 weeks or less before arrival you will be liable to pay the full balance for the whole of your booking. A non- refundable deposit of 25% is required to be paid at the time of booking, the final balance will be required in full 8 weeks before your holiday. Deposits are not refundable however we will always try to re-let the Barn and if successful we will return any payments made.
Cancellations must be made initially be made by telephone and then confirmed in writing. We recommend that you purchase appropriate travel insurance to cover yourself for illness ( including COVID), accident, and redundancy. If you think you have to cancel we advise discussing this with us as soon as possible as this will give us the opportunity to re-let the Barn.
SMOKING POLICY: We are a No Smoking and No Vaping establishment.
PETS: Sorry, we do not currently accept pets.
FUEL: Electricity and logs are included in the price of the rental.
CARE OF PROPERTY (DAMAGE AND BREAKAGES): We are sure that you will take care of the property during your stay and we understand that accidents sometimes happen, but we ask that damages, loss and major breakages are notified to us immediately. This will enable us to ensure continual smooth running of your stay and future guests.
CLEANING: The Barn is presented to a very high standard and to ensure this is the case for every guest we ask that the Barn is left in a clean and tidy condition (a half hour whisk around at the end of your stay is all that is needed) and we reserve the right to charge you if in our opinion the accommodation needs additional cleaning that would otherwise be reasonably expected. The minimum charge is £20. If you just want to pack and walk out - then please discuss with us first and we can book extra cleaning in advance of your stay for a fee,
SECURITY DEPOSIT: A security deposit of £100 per booking is payable by cheque 8 weeks prior to arrival, we have the right to deduct the cost of any missing inventory items, damage, breakages or additional cleaning. The deposits will be refunded within 14 days of your departure.
ARRIVAL AND DEPATURE: The Barn will be available to you from 5.00pm on the day of arrival. You are required to leave the property by 9.30am on the day of departure. The accommodation must be left in a clean and tidy condition and we reserve the right to charge you if in our opinion the property requires additional cleaning.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy for Crook a Beck Barn is 2 adults.
LIABILITY: We do not accept any liability in respect of loss or damage to your property or injury to you or another whilst on our premises unless caused by negligence of us.
COMPLAINTS: We hope that you will not need to complain, but if there are reasonable grounds then you must inform us immediately (during your stay) so that appropriate action can be taken. As we live next to Crook a Beck Barn, you will be able to contact us easily.
